Step 1. Download Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a program that will help you format your CV. It may take some time to get used to, but it’s a good investment since it’s used by many professionals and universities across Canada. Step 2. Enter Personal Details

You will be asked to fill in your personal details such as first name, last name, phone number, address, and email address. Be sure to enter a unique email address you can use later on. Also, make sure to include any other information that may be relevant such as educational qualifications or previous job experience. This step should take no more than 2 minutes of your time.

Step 3. Insert Work Experience

This is one of those sections that can often be tricky to fill out. For each job, you want to make sure to include when you were employed (month and year), what your job title was, what your specific responsibilities were, and how long you held that position.
