Apply For International Scholarship: A scholarship is a form of financial aid awarded to students to further their education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria, such as academic merit, diversity and inclusion, athletic skill, and financial need. Scholarship criteria usually reflect the values and goals of the donor or founder of the award.

Apply For International Scholarship

While scholarship recipients are not required to repay scholarships, the awards may require that the recipient continue to meet certain requirements during their period of support, such as maintaining a minimum grade point average or engaging in a certain activity. Scholarships may provide a monetary award, an in-kind award, or a combination.

Some prestigious, highly competitive scholarships are well-known even outside the academic community, such as the Fulbright Scholarship and the Rhodes Scholarship. These awards are based on a student’s academic, artistic, athletic, or other abilities, and are often a factor in an applicant’s extracurricular activities and community service record. The most common merit-based scholarships, awarded by either private organizations or directly by a student’s intended college, recognize academic achievement or high scores on standardized tests. Most such merit-based scholarships are paid directly by the institution the student attends, rather than issued directly to the student.

About The Scholarship

New York University (NYU) is one of the largest private universities in the USA, comprising 19 schools. When Albert Gallatin established NYU, he envisioned that the school, which was only available to the privileged ones in 1831, would be open for students of all classes, national origin, and social backgrounds. Today, approximately 50,000 students enrolled in NYU come from 133 countries and varying social statuses. To provide education even to low-income students, there are many New York University scholarships for international students.

By definition, international students at the New York University are; one, a non-US citizen, and two, a US citizen who has completed secondary education in a non-US school. There are currently 17,000 international students in NYU, the highest among all schools in the United States. In recognition of the challenges in applying to the university as an international student, they have created an application guide that contains everything you need to know about the application process.
