Through the UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation Scholarship is for global student. NBAA awards a minimum of $1,000 to each of five undergraduates studying at NBAA and University Aviation Association.

This scholarship is name for the late Janice K. Barden, who was active in the aviation society for decades and also chairman of the NBAA Business. Aviation Convention & Exhibition Local Committee eight times, more than any other person in NBAA history.

Scholarships will be given for one academic year. checks will be made payable to the school. Awards will be made to U.S. and international citizens. And without regard to sex, race, religion or national origin. Scholarship receiver must use the funds by the end of the academic year.

Through the UAA Janice K. Barden Aviation, NBAA Charities annually awards a minimum of $1,000 to each of five undergraduates studying aviation-related curricula at NBAA and University Aviation Association (UAA) member institutions. This scholarship is named for the late Janice K.

Minimum of $1000 scholarships for students officially enrolled in NBAA/UAA programs. Must be U.S. citizen, officially enrolled in an aviation-related program with 3.0 minimum GPA. Include with application an essay describing the applicant’s interest and goals for a career in the business aviation industry, and a letter of recommendation from member of aviation department faculty at institution where applicant is enrolled.
