Australia Awards in Africa (AAA), an initiative of the Australian Government, is a pan-African program of development scholarships and fellowships that offers 1,000 postgraduate scholarships each year to eligible African professionals. IPRS enables international students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and gain experience with leading Australian researchers. The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their dependents.

Each year, the Australian Government Department of Industry provides a number of International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) to eligible candidates. The Beijing Government Scholarship (BGS) was established by Beijing Municipal Government, aiming to provide tuition fees fully or partially to the international students studying or applying for studying in Beijing. Its administrative office is the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of the Beijing Municipal Commission of Educations, which is in charge of project establishment, review, acceptance, and daily management of the Beijing Government Scholarship Program.

5. CUD-ARES Scholarships in Belgium for Developing Countries

The Minister for Development Cooperation and the Directorate-General for Development Cooperation entrust the Belgian Higher Education Institutions with the preparation of Postgraduate Programmes (Advanced Masters) and Training Programmes that are specifically oriented towards young professionals from developing countries. Within the program for International Courses and Training, Programmes ARES grants 150 scholarships for participation in the masters and 70 scholarships for participation in the training programs.

6. VLIR- UOS Masters & Training Scholarships in Belgium for African/Developing Countries

VLIR-UOS offers full master & training Scholarships in Belgium for students from Developing countries – half of this scholarship will be offered to African students and preference will be given for Women. The eligible training or Master’s programs are taught in English.

7. Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarships for Foreign Students

Applications are invited annually for Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarships available for foreign students to study at the University of Brunei Darussalam [UBD], Islam Sultan Sharif Ali university [UNISSA], and Brunei Institute of Technology [ITB] in Brunei. These scholarships are awarded to the students of ASEAN, OIC, Commonwealth Member Countries, and others. A scholarship award is normally tenable for the duration of the program.

8. Vanier Canadian Graduate Scholarships for Entry into Canadian Universities

The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) was created to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and to brand Canada as a global center of excellence in research and higher learning. China Scholarship Council (CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (MOE), is responsible for the enrollment and administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs.

10. Czech Government Scholarships for International Students

The Government of the Czech Republic offers a number of undergraduates, Master and Doctoral scholarships within the framework of its Foreign Development Assistance Programme in support of the study of foreign nationals from developing countries at public institutions of higher education in the Czech Republic.

You can study for free at Czech public universities as long as you enroll in a degree taught in the Czech language. If you choose a program taught in English or another foreign language. You will pay tuition fees between 0 and 18,500 EUR per academic year. International students are eligible for scholarships in the same way that American students are. The main difference is that international students may need to provide additional documentation during the application process. 11. Danish Government Cultural Agreement Scholarships for International Students

The Danish Government Scholarships under the Cultural Agreements are aim at highly qualify exchange students wishing to immerse themselves in studies of the Danish language and culture or other fields of study relate to Denmark. Danish Government scholarships program covers 30-50% of the tuition fees, which means that the rest must be pay by the student. 13 Finland Government Scholarships for International Students

The Finland Government scholarships are offer for a period of 3-9 months for Doctoral level studies and research at Finnish universities or public research institutes. The Finland Government Scholarship Pool program is open to young researchers from all academic fields. The scholarship cannot be applies for Master’s level studies or post-Doctoral studies/research. The Finnish Government Scholarship Pool program application form is not an application for a study/research placement. It is merely an application for funding.

14. Government of Flanders Mastermind Scholarships for International Excellent Students – Belgium

The programme aims to promote the internationalization of the Flemish Higher Education. As stated in the Action Plan for Student Mobility. Brains on the Move and bring international stidents into Belgium. The duration of mobility is minimum 1 academic year and maximum the full duration of the master programme. If the student obtains less than 45 ECTS in the first year, then he/she loses the scholarship in the second year.

15. Government of Flanders Priority Country Scholarship Programme for African/International Students – Belgium

The Flemish Department of Education and Training offers scholarships under the new Priority Country Programme. The aim of this programme is to promote exchange of students between Belgium/Flanders and following priority countries listed in the link above. In Africa, Morocco and South Africa are list of countries eligible for this scholarship.

16. French Government (Eiffel Excellence) Masters and PhD Scholarships for Developing Countries

Masters and PhD Scholarships in France for Students from Developing Countries in Engineering Sciences. Sciences, Economics and Management, Law and Political Science. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme was establish by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. And International Development to enable French higher education establishments to attract top foreign students to enroll in their master’s and PhD courses.
