I’ve been on this earth for over 35 years. However, it wasn’t until about 4 years ago that I realized how important rejection was. It wasn’t until about 2 years ago that I truly learned to be thankful for it. Don’t get me wrong, being rejected is not always an easy thing. As it can sometimes cut you deep in your soul.
Without doubts, almost all of us have faced or experienced rejection at some point of time in our lives. Whether it is from family, friends, plans, relationships, social engagement or you were passed up for a promotion, rejection hurts. However, rejection also has a way of teaching and redirecting us in making our lives better.
For some people, they take it as a lesson to learn from, others ignore it to avoid the pain, that depends on our decision. How we think, feel, perceive and interpret things will have a major impact on our behavior in this regard.
We can accept rejections when we have positive thinking and the courage to deal with it. This will crystallize our reactions now and in the future. Remember it’s not about what happened to you but the thought you’ve given about it, how you allow it change or treat you.
So for those moments when your soul may need healing, here are some quotes for you From Great men:>>>
“When someone tells me “no,” it doesn’t mean I can’t do it, it simply means I can’t do it with them.” — Karen E. Quinones Miller
“I consider your rejection a lucky charm, because everything that ever happened in my life came on the heels of failure” — Barbara Corcoran
“As I look back on my life, I realize that every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, I was actually being re-directed to something better” — Steve Maraboli
Eventually you’ll understand that rejection is your gateway to resourcefulness. From rejection you will learn that when you can’t get through the front door, there’s a side door, a back door, a window. Or maybe it’s time for you to create a new door. No matter the moment, may you always have the strength to keep pushing through and the foresight to understand that everything happens for a reason.
